Taguchi Boss was born in 1945 and lives in Kumamoto Prefecture.

Taguchi Boss explains her life in simple statements:

At the age of 35 she meets and marries her husband.

In 1992 she and her husband open a European toy store in Kumamoto City, in Kumamoto Prefecture, on Kyushu Island.

In 1997 she opens a preschool class for preschool children in a corner of the store based on the concept of "not teaching anything.”  At this juncture, she takes the name Boss.

Her life continues smoothly, but in 2016 that changed when Kumamoto was hit by a strong earthquake. Her home is half-destroyed and she is forced to take shelter in the gymnasium of the nearby junior high school, then to a temporary shelter, until finally she is able to live in municipal housing.

She then turned over the operation of the toy store store to an acquaintance and begins making art in earnest at home.

Having never studied art, she applies herself and has drawn about 300 color pencil drawings in 5 years.
